The plain-language version of how we handle your information, your orders, and your money.

Privacy
Skarpa LLC is a limited liability company registered in Wisconsin, United States. We collect as little as we can get away with, and we do not sell any of it.
What we collect
- Email address, if you join our mailing list or apply to be a tester.
- Tester application details: the name, device and notes you type into the tester form, and the platform you picked.
- Order details, if you buy something: your name, shipping address, email and the items ordered.
- Basic request data that any web server sees, such as the country your request came from. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
What we never see
Card numbers. Payment is processed by Clover on Clover's own checkout page. Your card details go to Clover, never to us, and are never stored on our servers.
Who else touches your data
- Clover processes payments and stores order and payment records.
- Mailchimp stores mailing list subscriptions.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and stores tester applications and order state.
- Google and Apple run the tester distribution for Android and iOS respectively, if you are accepted as a tester.
Each of these has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the data it holds. We do not share your information with anyone else, and we do not sell it.
How long we keep it
Mailing list entries stay until you unsubscribe. Tester applications stay for as long as the relevant testing programme runs, then get deleted. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete what we hold by emailing game.admin@skarpastudios.com. We will act on it within 30 days. If you are in a place with specific data rights, such as California or the EU, those rights apply and this address is how you use them.
Children
Feral is made for families, but this website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Shipping and returns
Where we ship
The United States only, for now. Shipping is a flat rate added at checkout regardless of how many decks you order, up to the four-deck maximum.
How fast
We pack and ship within three business days of your order. Orders go out by USPS from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and you get a tracking number by email when yours leaves. We are a small studio, so if something is going to take longer than that, we will email you rather than leave you guessing.
If it arrives damaged
Send a photo to game.admin@skarpastudios.com within 30 days of delivery and we will send a replacement at no cost. You do not need to send the damaged deck back.
Returns
Unopened decks can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. Return shipping is on you unless the item was damaged or we sent the wrong thing. Email us first so we can tell you where to send it.
Lost packages
If tracking says delivered and the package is not there, give it three days, then email us. We will work it out with you.
Terms of sale
By placing an order you agree to these terms.
- Prices are in US dollars and do not include applicable sales tax, which is calculated where required.
- Stock is limited to the current print run. The count shown on the shop page is live. If a run sells out while you are at checkout, your payment will not go through and nothing will be charged.
- Orders can be canceled by emailing us before the order ships. After it ships, the returns policy above applies.
- We may cancel and refund an order if we cannot fulfil it, if it was priced in error, or if we suspect fraud.
- Product images are photographs and renderings of the real deck. Print colors can vary slightly between runs.
- Liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order, to the extent the law allows.
- Governing law is that of the State of Wisconsin, United States.
Tester programme
Testing is unpaid and voluntary. You can leave at any time, and we can end a testing programme at any time.
- Pre-release builds are provided as is. They will have bugs, they may lose your data, and features can change or disappear.
- Please do not publicly post screenshots, video or details of a closed build without asking us first. If you want to stream or write about it, ask, and we will usually say yes.
- Feedback you send us can be used to improve the games without any obligation or payment to you.
- Android testing runs through Google Play and iOS testing runs through Apple TestFlight, so their terms apply to the distribution itself.
